Jube School
Jube School is a week-long program of interactive, arts-based learning at the Jubilee Auditorium. Curriculum-linked explorations in the technical, visual, and performing arts will inspire teachers and students to learn new skills, gain new perspectives, and forge new connections. Working alongside some of the city's best teaching artists and technicians, students will have hands-on opportunities to create, reflect, and explore in an environment that supports personal growth, empowers practical learning, and inspires curiosity.
Some questions that have been explored at Jube School are:
- How do art and stories create meaning in our world?
- How do we use creativity and expression to tell stories, share identity, and inspire change?
- How do we share our stories?
- How can first hand experiences with the arts help us find our inner voice, celebrate diversity, and strengthen our self-esteem?
- How can the arts help us express our identity and connect with others?
- How do the arts contribute to the identity of our community?
